LIVE from Esteli! The Oliva Showcase – 3 November 2020 at 6.30pm (UK)

£60.00

Sautter Cigars proudly presents The Olivia Showcase Live from Esteli on 3rd November at 06.30 pm.

In attendance at the event will be Brian Shapiro, the Global Brand Ambassador of Oliva. On the evening we will join Brian to learn about the rich heritage of the brand, as well as a live tour of the factory.

As part of your package you’ll receive the following. The cigars are a combination of light, mild- medium and medium to full; but most importantly they are all high quality cigars with a good story behind each of them.

  • 3 cigars
      • Oliva Serie G Maduro Robusto
The dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper on this cigar is almost black in colour. Box-pressed, each cigar is skilfully handmade with a blend of Nicaraguan Habano long-fillers and binders that are carefully selected to complement the robust flavour and sweet aroma of this specially-aged wrapper. The smoke is rich, earthy, and medium-to-full in body.
      • Oliva Serie V Natural Double Robusto
On the outside, a beautiful oily Habano Sun Grown wrapper covers the Double Robusto. Inside this impressive leaf, a powerful, yet smooth blend of aged Nicaraguan Ligero from Nicaragua completes the package. The Serie V Double Robusto is full-bodied and offers layers of coffee, spice, and dark chocolate flavours.
      • Oliva Serie V Melanio Diadema 2019 Limited Edition
Released in September 2019, this is a very special and rare cigar. We only have a very small quantity of these left as only 2,500 boxes of 10 were produced for the International Market – they are not available in the USA. Like the regular Melanio blend, it uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. Unlike the typical Melanio, the cigar is round as opposed to box-pressed.
  • A Sautter cigar cutter

Melanio Oliva became a tobacco farmer in Cuba in 1886, and his family continued to farm until the Cuban Revolution. His son, Gilberto, left Cuba in the late 1950’s and travelled the world looking for a fresh start, before setting in Nicaragua in the 1960’s. Although cigars were not produced in Nicaragua at that time, tobacco was farmed and sold internationally, primarily in Little Havana, Miami where many Cuban exiles were rolling cigars. The Oliva family only started to produce cigars in the 1990’s and it was towards the end of the noughties that they introduced the Serie V Range to critical acclaim and global success. The Oliva Serie V Melanio Figurado was awarded the No1 cigar of the Year by the Cigar aficionado.
