Larranaga Launch
YOU can’t beat a good, old-fashioned cigar launch night. This particular launch was given a modern twist by those crafty so and sos in the Hunters & Frankau marketing department.
The next cab off the rank
IT’S easy to become blasé about the next cigar ‘cab off the rank.’ It used to be an unusual occurrence that a new Cuban cigar came to the market. Anything new caused much excitement among cigar lovers and we eagerly awaited the chance to try something different and out of the ordinary.
Out & About
So here we are; up and running once again, thank the Gods.
Society in general is getting back into gear and Sautter is no different. The Mount Street store opened its doors last week and among the first through them was the British Heavyweight boxer Derek ‘Del Boy’ Chisora, who pulled up a chair in the Sautter socially distanced outside seating area and enjoyed a smoke with his pals.
Let’s Get Regional
As well as the ‘everyday’, current production Cuban cigars we love so much, there has been, for some years now, some additions to the family that are well worth checking out. Habanos SA, the state-owned company behind the worldwide promotion of Havana cigars, came up with some good money-making ideas to make more of their market share and entice cigar lovers to part with ever more of their hard-earned readies.
A Night to Remember
The sun didn’t steal the show, but it sure tried its hardest. In a dark corner of the Hyatt Regency Churchill hotel off London’s Portman Square, sat the real star of the evening.
What’s The Point of Regional Editions?
To the uninitiated, wave after wave of ‘Special Edition’, ‘Limited Edition’ and ‘Regional Edition’ Havana cigars leaves a confusing trail of names, places, numbers and sizes. What are all these new cigars?
